About
Enjoy seasonal British cuisine in the light and airy setting of Somerset House on the Strand near Covent Garden.
Soak up the elegant atmosphere in the restored 19th century drawing room, located in the New Wing.
Dishes are creative with combinations such as spice-rubbed quail with sweetcorn puree and roasted figs and fillet of beef with courgette pickles and horseradish creme fraiche. Save room for a delicate dessert including hazelnut meringue cake with raspberry ice cream.
From Tuesday to Saturday between 5.30pm and 6.15pm, up to 30 diners can try the three-course Scratch menu which features dishes created from discarded produce such as misshapen vegetables, pasta trimmings and leftover cheese and bread.
