Waxy O'Connor's
About
Explore the maze-like interior of Irish bar, Waxy O’Connors in Soho.
Within this quirky venue are four bars, found over six different levels and linked together by a warren of staircases and passages. The pub’s name comes from a Dublin candle maker called Finbar O’Connor.
Stop by for a drink or for some hearty pub food, such as steak and Guinness pie or a Waxy’s Fry of Cumberland sausage, bacon, Clonakilty black pudding and white pudding, potato scone, tomato, mushrooms, baked beans, poached egg, toast and butter.
There’s live music to enjoy most nights and eight big screens showing all the major sporting events.
Look for the famous Waxy’s tree at the heart of the venue, a piece from a Beech tree planted in Ireland more than 250 years ago.
