Begin your journey in the Racing Lockups with the Raleigh Cycle Exhibition, exploring the pursuit of speed, efficiency, and safety. Then head to the ERA Shed, the last workshop built at Brooklands, to discover the Motorcycle Collection and legendary racing cars that once tore up the track.

Aviation highlights – Concorde experience and the Wellington Bomber
Climb aboard the legendary Concorde – the only one open to the public in South East England – and relive the excitement of the supersonic age with the Brooklands Concorde Experience, a 35-minute guided tour through aviation history.
Continue your journey in the Brooklands Aircraft Factory, an immersive space that recreates the site’s original role in aircraft production. Try hands-on activities on the Factory Floor, design your own aircraft upstairs and visit the Tinsmith shop to craft metal parts. At the heart of the exhibition is the Loch Ness Wellington Bomber, designed at Brooklands by Rex Pierson.
Finally, stroll through the Aircraft Park where a collection of post-war civil aircraft, from the Viking to Concorde, traces the evolution of British and global aviation.
Walk along the original Brooklands racetrack
Walk the steepest stretch of the historic Brooklands race track, following in the tyre tracks of motorsport legends like John Cobb, Malcolm Campbell, Kay Petre, Noel Pope and the Bentley Boys. Built in 1907, Brooklands was once hailed as the Ascot of Motorsport.
Step into Robin Jackson’s workshop to uncover the story of the first British Grand Prix races, held here in 1926 and 1927. Then take the wheel yourself in the McLaren F1 Simulator and experience the thrill of the original circuit.

Discover the London Bus Museum
Home to the world’s largest collection of working historic London buses, the London Bus Museum at Brooklands showcases more than 30 vehicles spanning over a century of transport history.
From early horse-drawn buses to familiar models still seen on London’s streets today, the museum traces the evolution of public transport in vivid detail.

How do I get to Brooklands Museum and where is it?
Brooklands Museum is located in Surrey just outside south-west London, a 30-minute train journey from London Waterloo.
The closest railway station is Weybridge (less than a mile away) on the Woking to Waterloo and Staines to Weybridge lines. You can then either walk for 20 minutes along Brooklands Road or catch a local bus outside the station to the Brooklands Hotel stop (a seven-minute walk).
Brooklands Museum opening times
Brooklands Museum is open in summer (from 1 March) from 10am to 5pm and in winter (from 3 November) from 10am to 4pm. Last admission is one hour before closing.
The museum is closed from 24 to 26 December for Christmas.
