Enjoy a pre-theatre bite to eat at The Ivy, an elegant restaurant in Covent Garden.

Established in 1917, The Ivy is a well-known dining spot with a glamorous interior and internationally inspired menu.

Classic dishes include shepherds pie, steak tartare and haddock and chips, along with tasty vegetarian and vegan food such as spiced cauliflower and wild mushroom risotto. Share a baked Alaska or apple tarte tatin for dessert.

Pop in before a show and pick from the pre-theatre menu, available from 2pm to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The centrepiece of the restaurant is the shimmering central dining bar where you can enjoy a drink and admire the stained-glass windows and oak panelling.
