About

Experience the dazzling, Olivier Award-winning musical Kinky Boots as it returns to London’s West End in a bold new production at the London Coliseum in spring 2026.

Join Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe in a high-energy performance as he transforms the uplifting story of Charlie Price into a sensory spectacle.

What is Kinky Boots about?

This striking new production celebrates individuality, inclusivity, and the power of friendship. With stunning costumes, eye-popping set designs and an award-winning score, Kinky Boots is the ultimate feel-good musical for spring 2026.

Previously picking up three Olivier Awards – including Best New Musical 2016 – Kinky Boots is based on the inspiring true story behind the celebrated 2006 British film. The musical follows Charlie Price, who inherits his family’s struggling shoe business.

Everything changes when he crosses paths with Lola, a fiercely fabulous drag performer whose vision for high heels for men turns Charlie’s world upside down. Together, they set out to create a revolutionary product that redefines fashion.

Who is in the cast of Kinky Boots 2026?

Strictly Come Dancing’s celebrated Johannes Radebe takes centre stage in the lead role of Lola, delivering an electrifying performance set to the Tony and Grammy Award-winning music by American singer-songwriter Cyndi Lauper. Directed by the multi-award-winning Nikolai Foster (Grease, The Wizard of Oz), this thrilling new production shows Harvey Fierstein’s heartwarming script and the empowering story of Charlie Price in a new light.

Please note that Johannes Radebe will not be performing on 26 March at 2.30pm and every Monday from 30 March.

The full cast is yet to be announced – check back soon for updates.
