After popular demand, the ultimate Christmas show is set to take over London's West End stage once more, bringing its unique blend of comedy, music, and festive cheer to the capital.
What is ELF The Musical about?
ELF The Musical tells the heart-warming story of Buddy, who crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts as a baby and grows up with Santa’s little helpers. After multiple incidents at Santa’s toy factory due to his size and poor toy making skills, Buddy realizes that he doesn’t quite fit in. After he learns the truth, he meets a host of colourful characters and spreads holiday joy wherever he goes.
The show features some memorable festive tunes such as “Sparklejollytwinklejingley” and “A Christmas Song". With its catchy tunes, charming characters, and heart-warming story, it's the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit and spread some joy and cheer. 2025 ELF The Musical London cast
The full cast of ELF the Musical has now been announced. The show will be led by an all-star cast, with Joel Montague (The Great Gatsby, Hamilton) playing Buddy, joined on stage by Carrie Hope Fletcher (Calamity Jane, Cinderella, Les Misérables) as Jovie and Aled Jones MBE as Walter Hobbs.
They are joined on stage by Rosanna Hyland (Back to the Future the Musical) who plays Emily Hobbs, Martyn Ellis (Wicked, The Lion King) playing Santa and Mr Greenway, Lucinda Lawrence (9 to 5, Hairspray) as Deb and Dermot Canavan (Hairspray, Fiddler on the Roof), playing the store manager.

- Biking - Hire a Santander Cycles bike and head to the Aldwych Theatre. Kingsway Southbound on the Strand is the nearest Santander Cycles dock.
Is Elf the Musical suitable for children?
ELF The Musical is a family-friendly musical recommended for children aged five years and older. Children under four years of age are not permitted into the theatre and Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
